Who supports the women who keep hope alive?

They are the wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters of victims of repression and political prisoners in Venezuela. They support their families and communities while standing in endless lines at courthouses, waiting for their loved ones, holding out, and now also facing the impact of the recent earthquakes.

We invite you to be part of the response:

🍴 Charity Dinner in Support of Venezuelan Women Affected by Political Persecution and the Humanitarian Emergency

📅 Thursday, August 6, 7:00 p.m.

📍 DC Al Toque Latin Cuisine Bar and Coffee (3910 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20011)

It will be a very special evening where we’ll share fine dining and solidarity, accompanied by a moving live musical performance featuring:

The Lopez Duet—classical violinists, recipients of the 2025 Orgullo Latino Award.

Wilfredo Marchese —Venezuelan singer

Featuring a special appearance by Dessiree Gómez and creator of @quetecuentohoy, as master of ceremonies.

The funds will support legal proceedings, legal defense, and emergency assistance for these women in the wake of the twin earthquakes.

Every little bit helps!
